The Estate
Located on the heights of Chaudefonds-sur-Layon, in the heart of Anjou Noir, Domaine des Hauts Perrays is the result of an association between two Burgundian friends: Gabin & Stéphane.
Our vines are cultivated, and our wines crafted, with passion and precision, with deep respect for nature and biodiversity.
An exceptional terroir
Our vineyard, covering 16 hectares over different schist degradation and composed of Chenin blanc, Cabernet Franc, Grolleau and Pineau d’Aunis, is a real “playing field” to create a large range of authentic wines.
Nature-Respectful, Hand-Crafted Winemaking
Each plot is worked with passion and precision, in a deep respect for biodiversity and our soils. Our vineyard, with an average age of 40 years is 100% hand-harvested to keep its longevity and respect grapes.
Producing wines by traditional processes is for us the only option to reveal their authenticity.
Each step from the vineyard to the bottle is made carefully. It allows us to keep the quality and typicity of our wines like freshness, finesse and complexity. Environmental sustainability, with strong respect for the vine’s natural growth cycle, is the basis of our choices to create our range of wines.
A range of wines with character.
Our wines reflect the diversity of our terroirs and the pure expression of our grape varieties. We product dry and sweet chenin blanc, red wines, rosés and Crémant de Loire. Our winemaking spirit creates well balanced wines with fruit, elegance and typicity.
